- Ex-founding engineer at Bird&Be (women's health, of all things).
- Early stint as a tech consultant at Slalom. Brief corporate detour.

Select an axis. Arrow keys work too.
React & TS
Angular until 2018, then React + TypeScript basically everywhere I still ship. TanStack keeps showing up.

How I got here
Internships, startups, and a few framework switches since university.
- Start studying Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto
- Do something dumb and do a free internship at a startup with Ruby on Rails
- Take a year off school to work at a telecom startup doing Java
- Graduate and start working as a front end developer, doing AngularJS, before React was popular
- moved over to Angular2 because it was the new cool thing
- sat next to a dude who really wanted to talk about Jenkins who introduced me to the fun world of CI/CD
- Become a 'AWS Architect' without actually passing the exam
- eventually discovered TypeScript, switched from Angular to React
- Join an exicting new startup for exactly 4 weeks before being laid off because they ran out of money
- Join a different company and move into BackboneJS as a result
- at same time, decide to start a company with a friend about Women's health of all things because of connections, and have that run in the background
- decide thats not fun, and move back into React
- become a founding engineer at a ecommerce company and discover NextJS for a couple years
- decide want to go back to doing front end specific work and move to a different startup
- know nothing about videos or AI but decide to help cofound a company about that
- decide to start this site to document my life in the way I know how to do best
- decide to go work at PostHog as a product engineer
- living life in Toronto, Canada
